“You've Waited a Year for This But WOW! What a Hit!”

In 1928 New York, Harold "Speedy" Swift (Harold Lloyd) can't hold a job, but he is devoted to Jane Dillon (Ann Christy) and her grandfather Pop (Bert Woodruff). Pop runs the last horse-drawn trolley in the city, and a railroad company wants it gone. Ted Wilde sends Speedy racing around town to save the line, and the whole thing is for Jane.
