“Every fairy tale ends.”
Diana (Kristen Stewart) arrives at Sandringham for Christmas 1991 already set on leaving her marriage to Charles (Jack Farthing). Pablo Larraín follows her through three days of rules about what to wear and when to eat, with Major Alistair Gregorys (Timothy Spall) keeping watch over the household. William (Jack Nielen) and Harry (Freddie Spry) are the only ones in the house she lets close.
