Spider

“The only thing worse than losing your mind... is finding it again.”

Spider (Ralph Fiennes) wants to get back to the childhood he lost, and he has just been released into a London halfway house with a notebook and almost nothing to say. His mind slips into the illness that shaped his boyhood. David Cronenberg lets the young Spider watch his mother, Yvonne (Miranda Richardson), and his father, Bill (Gabriel Byrne), and what he sees at that kitchen table is the whole of it.
