“The world's favorite adventure super hero in live-action.”

In 1977, a made-for-television New York is where an extortionist threatens to force a mass suicide unless he gets a huge ransom. Nicholas Hammond plays Peter Parker, newly gifted with his powers as Spider-Man, and E.W. Swackhamer directs the pilot for CBS. Peter works the story as a young photographer for J. Jonah Jameson (David White), while Captain Barbera (Michael Pataki) of the police has little patience for the masked man on the walls.
