Spike Island

“The story of two bands, one girl and a night they will never forget.”

Tits (Elliott Tittensor) and his friends play in a teenage band and want one thing more than a record deal: to see the Stone Roses live at Spike Island. The problem is that they have no tickets and no way to get to Widnes, so they set out to find both, with Little Gaz (Adam Long) and Zippy (Jordan Murphy) in tow. Mat Whitecross, who wrote and shot music films before this, directs the day as a loose, loud scramble.
