Spirited Away

“Prepare to be spirited away.”

On the way to their new home, ten-year-old Chihiro (Rumi Hiiragi) and her parents wander into an empty town where her mother and father eat from the stalls and turn into pigs. Alone in a world of spirits, she takes a job in the witch Yubaba's bathhouse, and a boy named Haku (Miyu Irino) is the only one who helps her. Hayao Miyazaki builds the story around the two of them, a friendship that gives Chihiro her nerve.
