Spotlight

“Break the story. Break the silence.”

Walter "Robby" Robinson (Michael Keaton) runs Spotlight, the Boston Globe's investigative unit, and the new editor, Marty Baron (Liev Schreiber), gives him a column about a priest to look into. Michael Rezendes (Mark Ruffalo) and Sacha Pfeiffer (Rachel McAdams) start knocking on doors and pulling files, and Tom McCarthy keeps the camera on the work itself. For Robby, every name that turns up in the records is also someone in his own city.
