Twelve-year-old Thomas Miller (Forrest Landis) has a reputation for tall tales, and he badly wants someone to believe him just once. Then he overhears a plot to kidnap the President's daughter, and when he goes public, nobody listens. Mark Blutman puts Thomas next to Jackie Hoffman (AnnaSophia Robb), a girl who has to decide whether the boy everyone laughs at is telling the truth.
