“Terror is ready to strike!”

David Blake (Dirk Benedict) is a college student short on money, so he takes a job as lab assistant to Dr. Carl Stoner (Strother Martin), a herpetologist who keeps his snakes close and his work closer. David starts falling for Stoner's daughter Kristina (Heather Menzies), and Bernard L. Kowalski lets the house sit quiet around them. Stoner has been working on a serum that can turn a man into a king cobra, and he wants to see what it does to a human body.
