St. Agatha
“Atone for your sins.”
In 1950s small-town Georgia, a pregnant con woman named Agatha (Sabrina Kern) is on the run and takes shelter in a convent tucked far from anyone. The Mother Superior (Carolyn Hennesy) gives her a place to have the child, but the convent runs on enforced silence, and Agatha starts to notice what the quiet is covering. Darren Lynn Bousman keeps her inside those halls, the nuns around her saying nothing, nothing to hear but her own breathing.
