Stacy: Attack of the Schoolgirl Zombies

“School's Out ... Forever!”

In this film's Japan, girls around seventeen catch an illness that gives them a brief, strange happiness before they turn into zombies, and Nozomi (Tomoka Hayashi) is one of them. The people around her are left to decide what to do with a loved one who is already as good as gone. Naoyuki Tomomatsu, adapting Kenji Ohtsuki's novel, plays the horror and the comedy in the same flat, unbothered tone.
