Stalingrad

“The epic battle that turned the tide of World War II”

A handful of Russian soldiers cross into the ruins of Stalingrad and take a battered building the German army wants badly. Katya (Mariya Smolnikova), a woman who has been living in the wreckage the whole time, ends up bound to the men under Kapitan Gromov (Pyotr Fyodorov), while Kapitan Kan (Thomas Kretschmann) presses in on the other side. Fyodor Bondarchuk shot it for IMAX, so the fighting fills the whole tall screen.
