Star

“The Universe always falls in Love with a Stubborn Heart”

Kalai (Kavin Raj) grows up in a lower-middle-class family with one fixed ambition, to become a star in the Tamil film industry. His father Pandian (Lal) and his mother Kamala (Geetha Kailasam) stand on one side, and the women who come into his life, Meera Malarkodi (Preity Mukhundhan) and Surabi (Aaditi Pohankar), stand on the other. Elan directs it as a coming-of-age story and keeps the camera close to Kalai's face as the hunger for fame takes hold.
