“The future begins.”

A starship captain (Chris Pine) and his science officer (Zachary Quinto) must learn to work together when a vengeful Romulan from the future (Eric Bana) attacks the Federation fleet. J.J. Abrams hurls them into combat before they trust each other, each man convinced he alone can save the ship. By the end, Kirk understands that command means choosing people over instinct, and Spock realizes that feeling might not be weakness.
