“The final frontier...and beyond.”

Captain James T. Kirk (Chris Pine), three years into a five-year mission in deep space, is starting to wonder what he is still reaching for. Then the Enterprise crew, with Spock (Zachary Quinto) and Dr. McCoy (Karl Urban) beside him, runs into a new enemy in uncharted territory, and Justin Lin sends them into a fight with the whole ship at stake. Kirk and Spock have to face it together, and what holds them there is the friendship between them.
