Starred Up
“We're all different on the inside.”
Eric Love (Jack O'Connell) is nineteen, quick to violence, and moved up early from a young offenders' institution into an adult prison. His father Neville (Ben Mendelsohn) is already inside, and the two have not been close for years. David Mackenzie keeps the camera tight on the cell walls and landings, and Eric stands in that narrow space with his fists still closed.
