Starship Troopers: Invasion

(2012)Directed by Shinji Aramaki89 min · RAnimation, Action, Science Fiction
“Everyone fights. No one quits.”

Carmen Ibanez (Luci Christian) is a battle-hardened trooper on a Federation starship, fighting alongside Johnny Rico (David Anthony Matranga) against a massive bug attack on an outpost. Shinji Aramaki animates the swarm in hard, fast bursts, and the mission stalls when the other ship abruptly departs and goes dark. Carmen and Johnny have a history, and the rescue puts them back in the same cramped corridors.
