“They're the man.”

David Starsky (Ben Stiller) is an uptight cop who plays every case by the book and lets nobody forget it. Then he is paired with Ken Hutchinson (Owen Wilson), a laid-back detective who treats the badge as more of a suggestion. Todd Phillips sends the two undercover on a big case, with street informant Huggy Bear (Snoop Dogg) and Reese Feldman (Vince Vaughn) in the middle of it, and Starsky has to work out whether he can stand his partner.
