Starve Acre

In a Yorkshire farmhouse in the 1970s, Richard (Matt Smith) and Juliette (Morfydd Clark) are raising a son who has begun to behave strangely. Daniel Kokotajlo sets the story on the bare land around their home, where Richard starts digging and Juliette turns to others for help. Richard has always trusted what he can measure, and now he keeps working the ground and refuses to look away from it.
