Stay

“Between the worlds of the living and the dead there is a place you're not supposed to stay.”

Sam Foster (Ewan McGregor) is a psychiatrist who takes on a new patient, Henry Letham (Ryan Gosling), a young man who says he will kill himself in a matter of days. When Sam finds Henry's mother alive, facts that should settle neatly start contradicting each other, and Marc Forster lets the unease creep into every room. Sam keeps coming back to Henry's chair, and to Lila (Naomi Watts), who stays beside him as he comes apart.
