Stealing Beauty

“The most beautiful place to be is in love.”

Lucy Harmon (Liv Tyler) is a 19-year-old American whose poet mother has recently died, and she arrives at a villa near Siena to stay with family friends. She has come partly to be sculpted by one of them, and partly to find the Italian boy she kissed there four years ago. Bernardo Bertolucci follows her through a Tuscan summer in which she hopes that boy will remember her too.
