“No one knows what the future holds. That’s why its potential is infinite.”

A year after the events of the anime, Rintarou Okabe (Mamoru Miyano) begins to feel what all his time travel has cost him, and slowly stops being part of the world. Takuya Sato and Hiroshi Hamasaki follow Kurisu Makise (Asami Imai), the only one who still remembers him, as she searches for a way to bring him back. Between the two of them is a year of unsaid things, and she is the last person left to say them to.
