“Daddy's been working in the garden... again!”

Keith Grant (Robert Wightman) is a new man in Deer View, California, with a new face from plastic surgery and a name he took after escaping a Puget Sound institution. He falls for Christine Davis (Priscilla Barnes), a divorced school principal, and Guy Magar keeps the courtship polite and watchful. Her wheelchair-bound son Andy (David Tom) doesn't trust him, and Keith, who needs this family to work, can't afford to be doubted.
