Stick

“It's his last chance. And he's going to fight for it.”

Rainy (José Pérez) is shot dead in front of his friend Ernest "Stick" Stickley (Burt Reynolds), a car thief just out of jail who saw the whole thing go down during a drug deal. The men who did it work for the mobster Chucky (Charles Durning), and they know a witness is still walking around. Stick takes a job driving for the millionaire Barry Braham (George Segal) and keeps his head down, but Chucky's crew is looking for him.
