Stockholm Bloodbath

“Old grudges never die.”

Anne Eriksson (Sophie Cookson) moves through the Swedish court in 1520 as power fractures between the kingdom's nobles and King Kristian (Claes Bang) of Denmark, who arrives with soldiers at his back. She watches the tensions tighten, caught between her loyalty to family and the dangerous men who mean to use her. By the time the massacre begins, the stone streets run dark with blood, and Anne stands alone in the wreckage, watching the city burn.
