“Being released doesn't mean you're free.”

In Pennsylvania, a young woman is returned to the biological parents she has not seen in seventeen years, taken from them as a child and raised by the man who abducted her. Leia Dargon (Saoirse Ronan) comes home to Marcy (Cynthia Nixon) and Glen (David Warshofsky), who are strangers to her and who badly need her to be the daughter they lost. Nikole Beckwith's debut stays close on Leia as she sits in the house with them, a girl of seven still living inside her.
