Stoker

“Innocence ends.”

India Stoker (Mia Wasikowska) wants to be left alone, and after her father Richard's death in an unexplained road accident, the quiet house she shares with her brittle mother Evie (Nicole Kidman) gives her just that. Then her uncle Charlie (Matthew Goode), whom she has never met, turns up unannounced and settles in. Park Chan-wook makes his English-language debut here, and India's distrust of Charlie starts to loosen just as the house closes in around her.
