Elsa (Elin Kristina Oskal) is a young Sámi woman trying to hold on to her heritage and her family's reindeer herd. Around her, xenophobia is rising, a warming climate is making herding harder, and the young people of her community are choosing suicide. Elle-Márjá Eira's debut feature follows Elsa as she fights to defend where she comes from, whatever it costs her.
