Stonehearst Asylum

“No one is what they seem.”

Edward Newgate (Jim Sturgess), a young Oxford medical graduate, arrives to take a post at Stonehearst Asylum and finds the place run in ways no one told him about. Brad Anderson fills the building with patients he is not meant to question, and Edward cannot stop looking at Eliza Graves (Kate Beckinsale). Silas Lamb (Ben Kingsley) receives him in a hall of locked doors, and Eliza watches from behind one of them.
