Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot

“Detective Joe Bomowski's mom is in town for a visit. She did the laundry, washed the windows and scrubbed the floors. Now, she's gonna clean up the streets.”

In 1992 Los Angeles, police sergeant Joe Bomowski (Sylvester Stallone) gets a visit from his mother Tutti (Estelle Getty), who moves in and starts managing his love life and his case files. For his birthday she buys him a machine gun out of the back of a van. Roger Spottiswoode builds the chaos around Tutti, a small woman in a cardigan, gripping the gun in both hands while her son stands next to her.
