Stopmotion
“Bring your nightmares to life.”
In a cramped studio, Ella Blake (Aisling Franciosi) builds a stop-motion film frame by frame, still reeling from the death of her overbearing mother, Suzanne (Stella Gonet). As the work goes on, the puppets she is moving begin to seem like they move on their own, and her hold on her own mind loosens. Robert Morgan, making his feature debut, shoots the animation as handmade and wrong.
