Storm Boy

“Let your heart soar”

A boy named Storm Boy (Finn Little) finds an injured pelican chick on the shore and takes it home to the shack he shares with his reclusive father, Hideaway Tom (Jai Courtney). Shawn Seet adapts Colin Thiele's 1964 novella, framing the story through the older Mike Kingley (Geoffrey Rush) looking back. The boy keeps the bird he names Mr. Percival close, and the empty coastline is all around them both.
