Storm Center

“Who really set the town aflame?...”

Nobody in town can say who first decided that a book on the library shelves was a danger, only that the council now wants it gone. Alicia Hull (Bette Davis), the librarian, refuses to pull it, and Daniel Taradash follows the weeks after, when the word Communist starts to attach itself to her name. She has run the place for years, and she keeps showing up at her desk to find out how much of the town is still on her side.
