Story of a Night

Piero (Giuseppe Battiston) and Elisabetta (Anna Foglietta) once loved each other fiercely, but the death of their eldest son has turned them into strangers who trade barbed remarks and blame. Their two remaining children convince them to spend Christmas together in a luxury chalet in Cortina d'Ampezzo. By the end of the night, they stand in the dark chalet, snow falling beyond the windows, neither one quite able to close the distance between them.
