Story of My Death

Casanova (Vicenç Altaió) is an aging libertine who has taken a new servant, Pompeu (Lluís Serrat), a man who will be at his side near the end. Albert Serra follows them from the castle's candlelit 18th-century excess into the poorer, shadowed Northern lands. There Casanova's rationalist habits meet Dràcula (Eliseu Huertas), and the old man has to face a violent, romantic force his reasoning cannot hold.
