Straight from the Barrio

“You can take the man out of the street... but you can't take the street out of the man.”

Edgar Dinero (Daddy Yankee) sells drugs for a crew in Puerto Rico, and his life gets crowded fast: he falls for Soribel (Katiria Soto) just as the men around him start turning on each other. Then someone offers him a way out as a reggaetón singer. José Iván Santiago puts Edgar between the street that raised him and the stage that wants him, and he has only so long to choose before one of them takes it all.
