Strait-Jacket

“WARNING! 'Strait-Jacket' vividly depicts ax murders!”

Lucy Harbin (Joan Crawford) wants her old life back after twenty years in an asylum for the axe murders of her husband and his lover. She goes to stay with her daughter Carol (Diane Baker), the girl who watched it happen as a child. William Castle sets her return among relatives and neighbors who are watching her, and when axe killings begin again, Lucy has to prove she is not the woman they remember.
