Strange Confession

“Newest Weirdest Shocker”

In 1945, Jeff Carter (Lon Chaney Jr.) is a scientist working on a cure for influenza at a laboratory owned by Roger Graham (J. Carrol Naish). Graham is his boss, and he releases the vaccine before it is ready, and Jeff's son is the one who dies. His wife Mary (Brenda Joyce) is left to hold the household together while he carries the loss. John Hoffman keeps the story in the cramped, shadowed rooms of a low-budget Universal mystery.
