Strangeness

Luigi Pirandello (Toni Servillo) travels to Sicily in 1920 stuck on the play that will become Six Characters in Search of an Author. There he meets Onofrio (Salvatore Ficarra) and Sebastiano (Valentino Picone), two gravediggers who rehearse their own amateur drama in their spare hours. Roberto Andò follows the writer as he lingers around the odd pair, a man with a blank page drawn to people who write without any such trouble.
