Stranger Than Fiction
“Harold Crick isn't ready to go. Period.”
One morning Harold Crick (Will Ferrell), an IRS agent who counts his toothbrush strokes and his steps to the bus, hears a woman's voice describing everything he does as he does it. Marc Forster follows him to a literature professor, Jules Hilbert (Dustin Hoffman), and to a bakery owner he is supposed to be auditing, Ana Pascal (Maggie Gyllenhaal). Harold has spent his whole life alone, and Ana is the first person who makes him want to put the watch down.
