Strangers in the Night

“Stalked by a Crazed Night KIller !”

In 1944, Sergeant Johnny Meadows (William Terry) comes home from the war carrying letters from a girl he has never met. He sets out to find her in a small town, and the search leads him to the house of Mrs. Hilda Blake (Helene Thimig). Anthony Mann sets the Gothic mystery inside that house, where Johnny's attention drifts to Dr. Leslie Ross (Virginia Grey) while the woman he came for remains out of reach.
