Strangled
Young women keep turning up strangled in 1960s Hungary, and the police have already put a man on trial for the killings, though he could not have committed them. Detective Bóta (Zsolt Anger) comes to the case, and Árpád Sopsits follows him as he grows fixed on it while the prosecutor presses for a hanging. Under party rule, a verdict can matter more than whether the right man is standing in the dock.
