STRAW

“This is her last.”

A single mother named Janiyah Wiltkinson (Taraji P. Henson) works hard to keep her ill daughter looked after, and one terrible day stacks up until she commits an act of desperation. Tyler Perry follows her through the hours that lead there, with Sherri Shepherd as Nicole and Teyana Taylor as Detective Kay Raymond. It is about what happens when a person with no money and no one to lean on runs out of room.
