Stray Cat Rock: Machine Animal

“Long live LSD! Long live machine guns! Long live motorbikes!”

Maya (Meiko Kaji) and her gang want to get a Vietnam war deserter out of Japan and onto a route to Sweden, and they decide the way to pay for it is selling LSD pills. Yasuharu Hasebe sends them through the nightlife streets as word of the drug deal spreads and rival gangs come looking. Beneath the fights, the film is about a handful of young people trying to buy one stranger the freedom they cannot get for themselves.
