Strayed
Odile (Emmanuelle Béart) is a young war widow who leaves Paris in June 1940 with her two children as Hitler's army arrives. On the road, dive-bombing German fighters pin them down, until a cocky, reckless teenager (Gaspard Ulliel) pulls them clear and leads them to an abandoned house. André Téchiné leaves Odile in that borrowed house, with her children, a stranger's roof, and a boy she cannot send away.
