Street Flow

Fifteen-year-old Noumouké (Bakary Diombera) is growing up in a Paris suburb with two older brothers pulling him opposite ways: Soulaymaan (Jammeh Diangana), a law student, and Demba, who works as a gangster. Each brother is waiting to see whose steps he will follow, and the choice is coming whether he wants it or not. Alix Mathurin and Leïla Sy shoot the estates and their streets at street level, plainly, with no gloss.
