Street of Chance

(1942)Directed by Jack Hively74 minDrama, Mystery, Thriller
“"Who am I? Am I a killer? Who are the women that love me?" I can't remember!”

In 1942, Frank Thompson (Burgess Meredith) is hit by falling construction material on a city street and wakes with his memory back, only to learn a full year has gone missing. He goes home to his wife Virginia (Louise Platt) and finds the facts of that lost year piling up around him, none of them his. Jack Hively builds the film on a woman, Ruth Dillon (Claire Trevor), who shields him from police who want him for a wealthy man's murder.
