Stromboli

Sara (Elise Schaap) sets out on a holiday that goes wrong almost at once, and she ends up at a self-help retreat she never planned to attend. Director Michiel van Erp, adapting Saskia Noort's 2018 novel, puts her among strangers, including Harold (Tim McInnerny) and Diane (Anna Chancellor), who are all expected to talk. Sara carries the end of her marriage and a fight with her daughter into every session, and neither will stay quiet.
