Stronger

“Strength defines us.”

Jeff Bauman (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a Boston guy who goes to the 2013 marathon finish line to hold a sign for his ex-girlfriend Erin (Tatiana Maslany). He loses both his legs in the bombing, and he is also the man who can describe one of the people responsible to the police. David Gordon Green keeps the camera close to Jeff in his mother Patty's (Miranda Richardson) crowded house, hospital bed, and wheelchair.
