Stuart: A Life Backwards

Alexander Masters (Benedict Cumberbatch), a reclusive writer, begins campaigning to free two charity workers from prison and ends up spending his days with Stuart Shorter (Tom Hardy), a homeless man whose life has never run in a straight line. David Attwood tells Stuart's story in reverse, starting from where he is now and moving back through the people and places that shaped him. The friendship is all that stands between Stuart and the street.
